Aboriginal Recipe Book
The Kelowna Foster Parent Association is honored to present “All
My Relations”, a book of recipes of Canada’s Aboriginal
peoples, First Nation, Métis and Inuit.
After several years of dedicated research on the part of one of our
Foster Parents this book went from a dream to a reality. Over 300
recipes were gathered from all across Canada. Both individuals
and organizations generously shared their heritage and knowledge of
traditional cooking.
This cookbook represents Foster Parent’s desire to provide the
children they care for a connection to their cultural roots. Many
of these connections become lost when aboriginal children come into
care.
